CV Writing Workshop took place in Donetsk

Members of the American Club at the Center for Political Studies brought their CVs to a mini-workshop, aimed at boosting them.

Interesting insights were shared by Mike Martucci, an American professor of English at the Donetsk National University and David Cepeda, a volunteer with the European Voluntary Service from Spain.

One of the things participants learned was the difference between different types of CVs and a résumé - a term more commonly used in the U.S. Prof. Martucci also discussed the cultural differences regarding selection to universities between the U.S. (where one is evaluated as a personality and member of community) and China (where one is judged by performance, his or her test scores).
